Full Time Awnings Sales Executive

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic AWNINGS SALES EXECUTIVE, ideally with knowledge/background of the leisure industry, to join our busy Awnings Department in Bawtry near Doncaster.

The role will include day to day sales of awnings and accessories, dealing with our suppliers, offering our customers advice and help on purchasing suitable products, maintaining product updates on our website and liaising with our marketing team on awning sales campaigns.

Desirables of the role:

  • Enthusiasm towards Camping and Caravanning
  • Leisure industry experience
  • Sales experience - ability to work to sales targets/goals
  • Comfortable assisting on offline and digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to lift products and on occasion assemble awnings on-site
  • Friendly and polite
  • Ability to update products online
  • Good IT proficiency

The candidate must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays and occasionally may be required to attend shows and events off site. Competitive rates of pay and bonus scheme - earnings can reach £25k. As part of the team you will be offered group life insurance cover and a pension salary exchange.

Motorhome Specialist

We are looking for a Full Time Motorhome Specialist to join our team, managing our brand new motorhome division. Ideally the candidate would need knowledge into the caravanning/motorhome industry - this role would suit an exisiting motorhome sales executive, looking for a change. A full driving licence would be preferable due to occasional travel. Salary commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Selling of new and pre-owned motorhomes and camper vans
  • Purchasing pre-owned motorhomes
  • Managing our motorhome forecourt and department
  • Liasing with our sales manager
  • Suggesting campaigns and marketing activities in relation to motorhome sales
  • Occasional travel to caravan/motorhome/camping shows
  • Weekend work hours
  • Using online sales tools/ internal systems to manage sales and collect data

Full Time Caravan Service Technician

This role would suit someone with a knowledge of caravans, or from the motor trade, but this is not essential as training will be provided.

Job details include: PDI of caravans, servicing, carrying out habitation checks, tyre changing and the occasional warranty work whilst being serviced.

The job will involve some moving of caravans, this could be manual or using a tow vehicle.

Salary TBA based on experience. Full time position based on 40 hours a week.

Apprentice Roles

We are looking to recruit 2 Apprentices in our busy caravan service centre. Working with the internal team, the ideal candidates will be school/college leavers with basic IT knowledge and level 4 or above grades in GCSE Maths and English. The positions are full time, 40 hours per week with weekend work and overtime available as required. Previous knowledge of caravans/motorhomes is not required.

Salaries start at £5.28ph for 16-17 year olds and £7.49 for 18-20 year olds. Training will be provided on the job. These roles are not currently part of an apprenticeship scheme, however we welcome applications from those looking for these types of roles, as it may be something we can offer.

Apprentice Caravan Technician

Working alongside our team of trained caravan technicians, this role would see the candidate working on caravans, performing routine servicing, damp inspections and plumbing and electrical checks. Working with caravans from world renowned brands, such as Coachman, Bailey and Swift, you will be taught the essentials in caravan maintenance, with a view to working solely, once fully trained.

Apprentice Service/Warranty Administrator 

We are looking to recruit an office administrator, working with our team and directly with customers to ensure that they receive excellent service during their caravan repairs/fittings/service. The ideal candidate would need good communication skills, as part of this role involves liaising with customers face to face and via email and telephone. Main duties will include caravan bookings, invoicing, filing, customer contact and general office duties.

Full Time Customer Service Administrator

We are looking for a Full Time Customer Service Administrator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our very busy Aftercare / Warranty Department. They will be responsible for ensuring that all required Calls, Emails, Job Cards are dealt as required to meet the demands of Caravan Servicing, PDI, and Warranty and ensure consumables are available within company budgets and guidelines. 

The successful candidate will have previous admin experience in a role within a customer focused, serviced based department, a good telephone manner and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Duties include:

  • Receive phone calls and e-mails requesting parts and equipment and order as required
  • Receive verbal requests from internal staff for parts and equipment and order as required
  • Ensure that all consumables are available within company targeted volume and budgets
  • Ensure Service to the Workshops is available at all times to ensure their efficiency
  • Booking parts and understanding pricing and invoicing

Hours – Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm and Sat 8.30am to 12.00noon (rota basis)

Full Time Sales Executive

We are looking for a Sales executive to join our ever growing and busy team here at Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry. You will be selling new and pre owned caravans and motorhomes. Sales experience is essential. This is great opportunity for somebody with Automotive Sales Experience looking for a change of scenery!

Occasional cover on Saturdays 9am -12noon.

Responsible for making sure caravans are clean and tidy on our pre owned and new pitch. Experience in this area would be preferred, but training will be provided.
