Our awnings department this month have selected the Dorema Quattro to showcase. This family porch awning is available in 4 sizes, the 225 and 275 which have been design for touring, and the 380 and 430 which are ideal to be seasonally sited and used in the winter months by Winter caravan fans.
As standard this awning comes with a 25mm pole frame. The 225 and 275 can be upgraded, at additional cost, to a lightweight aluminum frame. This makes the erection of the awning much more efficient, and is easier for transportation as it weights less - up to approx 8Kgs!!
Please note: The lightweight frame options are not suitable for seasonal site use.
Alternatively the 380 & 430 models can be upgraded to a 28mm steel frame, offering more rigidness to the awning. This is ideal in strong winds or heavy snowfall, as it offers that extra protection from the elements.
Designed in a Charcoal and Grey colourway, this poled awning utilises extra strong Ten Cate materials, which is a high quality durable fabric produced in Europe. Ten Cate fabric is a coated polyester, giving high durability and it is easy to clean.
This awning features extras such as a Dual Gradient Roof, which encourages snow run-off in winter and minimises water build up in heavy rain. It also offers a comfortable head height. Other features of this awning include the use of internal &/or external pegging points to allow the mud walls to be positioned inside or outside the awning. Mud walls prevent dust, dirt, rain and snow coming into the awning and so are a nice additional feature, to help keep the inside of the Quattro awning clean and tidy.
The Quattro also has a removable front panel, which can be part zipped or opened fully. This opens up the inside to the outdoors, making the awning feel bigger and offering a gentle breeze on warmer days, throughout the space. The awning has a door on both the right and left hand sides, offering multiple pitching options. Alongside this, it features large clear windows, with curtains to provide privacy if needed and fly screens, which are ideal for the warmer weather, when midges and flies are more prevalent.
This awning uses ridge ventilation which helps reduce condensation, allowing a constant flow of air to maintain a pleasant atmosphere inside the awning.
In order to prevent damage to your caravan and to reduce drafts, this awning is fitted with cushion pads on the rear legs. Cushion pads gently rest on the caravan to create a better fit and also stops the rain from coming in.

Will the Dorema Quattro Porch Awning fit my Caravan?
Dorema porch awnings are designed to fit along the straight horizontal section of the awning rail on your caravan (A). The measurement from the ground to the awning rail, at the top of your caravan, should be 235cm to 250cm (B). You may also wish to consider factors such as the location of vents, lockers,
windows, etc.
