Bailey All Electric Endeavour Concept at the NEC

Bailey All Electric Endeavour could be an interesting concept to keep your eye on. Showcased to the public for the first time yesterday, at the Motorhome and Caravan Show 2023, at Birmingham's NEC, this concept vehicle was definitely turning heads.

Based upon Ford’s E-Transit platform this exciting concept vehicle currently has no official announcement on a launch date or if it will even hit the roads, but has been developed to help Bailey with its goal of becoming a NetZero business, by 2050.

The All Electric Bailey Endeavour is packed full of sustainable features, such as:

  • Recycled components throughout
  • Work surfaces created from low carbon recycled materials
  • Handles created from recycled ocean plastics
  • Recycled Polyester upholstery
  • Fully Electric motor
  • Lighting controlled by Alexa
  • All internal appliances power by electric
  • Solar Panels

All Electric Endeavour Concept Charging Times

Charging the E-Transit's battery through a DC fast charging port typically requires around 35 minutes to reach an 80% charge, while using an AC charging port takes slightly over 8 hours to reach a full 100% charge. Keep in mind that charging times may differ based on the local infrastructure.

How does this Concept differ to the New Bailey Endeavour?

The primary distinguishing feature of this vehicle is its complete transformation into an electric van. Not only is the base vehicle fully electric, but all the van's appliances and features also operate without the need for any fossil fuels.

Moreover, the Bailey Design team has introduced several innovative concepts that set it apart from the standard Endeavour, including:

  1. Utilisation of recycled materials throughout, encompassing recycled fabrics and upholstery for seating, worktops crafted from recycled kitchen appliances, and handles made from ocean-sourced plastic.
  2. Integration of a voice-controlled lighting system, allowing users to customise the color temperature and light intensity to their preferences.
  3. An adaptable lounge configuration that accommodates working, lounging, and sleeping modes, complete with an extended kitchen area for enhanced preparation space.
  4. The inclusion of fully electric appliances, featuring an electric microwave oven and an induction hob.
  5. A full exterior vehicle wrap, along with a trendy color scheme on the interior.

That said, due to the fully electric nature of this vehicle, the current Endeavour EV concept vehicle would be 75% more expensive than the standard Endeavour B62!!!

Can't wait? Check out the Endeavour B62 and B64

We look forward to hopefully see this concept adapt into one of Bailey's Panel Van models at some point in the future. For now, we have the brand new Endeavour B62 and Endeavour B64 panel vans, which will be landing at Yorkshire Caravans soon.
