We’re incredibly proud to announce that Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes has been named a finalist at the Doncaster Business Awards 2026, reaching the final stage of the Medium Business of the Year category.
It’s a fantastic achievement for the whole Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes team – made even more special by the fact that 2026 is the first year we have ever entered the Doncaster Business Awards.
Our first entry also happens to coincide with an important milestone for the business: our Centenary year. As we celebrate 100 years of Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes, being recognised alongside some of Doncaster’s leading businesses is something we’re extremely proud of.
What are the Doncaster Business Awards?
Organised by Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, the Doncaster Business Awards are one of the biggest events in the region’s business calendar.
Described by Doncaster Chamber as the region’s most prestigious business celebration and the largest business awards event in Yorkshire, the awards recognise the achievements, innovation and success of businesses and individuals contributing to Doncaster’s thriving business community.
The annual black-tie awards ceremony brings together businesses, senior leaders and decision-makers from across Doncaster and the wider region for an evening celebrating local business success.
For 2026, the awards ceremony will take place at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 3rd December, when the winners across the different award categories will be revealed.
Finalists for Medium Business of the Year 2026
Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes has been shortlisted in the Medium Business of the Year category alongside other local businesses, to name a few:
- ReFood UK Ltd
- RO Arnold
- Togel Contractors
- VAC-EX Ltd
To reach the final alongside such a strong group of established Doncaster businesses is an achievement in itself, particularly in our first year entering the awards.
But, of course, we’d love to go one step further!
Celebrating the people behind Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes
Although our name might be on the finalist list, this recognition belongs to the entire team.
Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes has grown and developed enormously over the years, but our people remain at the heart of the business.
From our caravan and motorhome sales teams to our aftersales department, leisure shop, awnings team, workshop and storage facility, as well as the many people working behind the scenes, every department plays a part in the experience we provide to our customers.
That makes being named a Doncaster Business Award 2026 finalist particularly rewarding.
It recognises not simply the size of the business, but the hard work, dedication and commitment of the people who have helped Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes continue to grow while serving generations of caravanners and motorhome owners.
An extra-special achievement in our Centenary year
The timing couldn't be better.
2026 marks 100 years of Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes, making this one of the most important years in our history.
Over the past century, the business has evolved considerably, but our connection to the local area and our passion for helping people enjoy the freedom of caravanning, motorhoming and the great outdoors have remained at the heart of what we do.
Reaching the final of the Doncaster Business Awards 2026 during our Centenary celebrations gives us another reason to celebrate an already memorable year.
It’s also an opportunity to recognise everyone who has played a part in our story – our current team, past employees, suppliers and manufacturers, and, of course, the thousands of customers who have supported Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes over the years.
Next stop: Stage Two Judging
Being shortlisted means we now progress to the next part of the Doncaster Business Awards judging process.
Our Stage Two Judging interview takes place on Wednesday 16th September, when we’ll have the opportunity to represent Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes and tell the judges more about our business, our team and what we’ve achieved.
The winners will then be announced at the Doncaster Business Awards 2026 ceremony at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 3rd December.
Whatever happens from here, we’re immensely proud to have reached the final in our very first year of entering.
A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone at Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes who has helped make this possible.
Now all that’s left to do is keep our fingers crossed for Stage Two!
Wish us luck!
